Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED: January 11, 2026
Let's keep this simple. Privacy isn't just a "compliance checklist" for us. It's the entire point of this website.
Given that we spend our days stress-testing security tools and preaching about digital sovereignty, it would be pretty hypocritical if our own site was a data sponge. It's not. Our philosophy is minimal data, maximum transparency.
1. What We Actually Collect
We run a lean ship. We don't want your data unless we absolutely need it to talk to you.
The "Inner Circle" (Newsletter)
If you sign up for our daily updates, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't ask for your phone number, your location, or your mother's maiden name. We need your email solely to send you the intelligence reports you asked for.
Basic Analytics
We use privacy-preserving analytics to see which articles people actually read. We don't use those creepy cross-site tracking cookies that follow you around the internet to sell you shoes. We just want to know if you prefer reading about "Inflation" or "Privacy Tools."
2. How We Use It
- To Deliver Intel: We send the newsletter to your inbox.
- To Improve the Lab: Anonymized data helps us decide which tools to test next. (e.g., If everyone reads our VPN reviews, we'll do more VPN tests).
3. The Zero-Sale Policy
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Period.
We are a lab funded by our readers and ethical affiliate partnerships, not by data brokers. Your email stays with us.
4. Security & Encryption
We employ industry-standard security measures to lock down our infrastructure.
However, standard email is never 100% secure. If you need to send us sensitive tips or leaks, please use the PGP Key or Signal ID listed on our Contact page. Do not send sensitive financial data via regular email forms.
5. Leaving the Lab (Third-Party Links)
Senhai Lab often links to external tools, software repositories (like GitHub), and resources. Once you click those links and leave our site, we can't control what they do.
We recommend reviewing their policies—especially for the privacy tools we review. Just because we reviewed a tool doesn't mean we control their website.
6. Talk to Us
If you have a privacy-specific question or want us to delete your email from our list immediately, just ask.
